Feels Like Magic Top Ten!!

dayum!! we got a top ten ya big dummies!! big ups to the boys and everybody that put us in the top ten on our 6th week!! im so broooud!!! this is the shit to me not coz this album was our little personal project, but because it got there on the fact of being good music and the peoples were feeling it. hardly any promotion for the record, no big budget, kept on getting video funding denied so we had to fund ourselves, certain radio stations werent adding it and the list goes on and on and on like that chubby dogs toilet paper. excuse a brova for ranting but i feel like this is a big ahievement, not only for local hip hop coz i cant remember the last time a top ten charted, but also for those horsie fullas on the album. shot ya big dummies! like i said before.. im so broooud. :) ill drink to that! CHING CHING!

M Phazes Wins International Beat Battle

just got sent this from DJ Flagrant the Homer Simpson stunt double .. ;) just kidding bro.

On March 9th, 2008, Australian Hip-Hop producer M-Phazes became the first producer from outside of the US to win the worlds largest and most prestigious beat making competition - Sha Money XL's One Stop Shop Producer Conference Beat Battle.


M-Phazes came first out of hundreds of entrants and was judged live and in the flesh by celebrities like DJ Premier, 9th Wonder, Chamillionaire, NO I.D., Denaun Porter and numerous other artists/a&r's/label representatives.


This marks an exciting turning point in the career of this down under producer who previously to the battle had already landed tracks featuring artists such as Freeway, Sean Price, Terminology, Royce Da 5' 9", CL Smooth and numerous other respected underground members of the Hip-Hop community.


M-Phazes has recently finished an album with Brooklyn MC Emilio Rojas entitled the "Phaze-One" project, he will be contributing to Pharoahe Monch's new album and is currently working on 2 solo LP's.
